Sara has been in ministry for 15 years both at the local and diocesan levels. Having received her primary formation through the Permanate Diaconate Formation Program in San Antonio, Tx. She has continued to expand her personal growth in ongoing study and formation in theology, spirituality and pastoral ministry. She is currently completing her course work for a degree in developmental psychology at Portland State University. She is a convert of 26 years to Catholicism and takes particular joy and delight in the formation and direction of preparing other new converts to the Catholic Faith through the RCIA process.
